A few days in pictures

Since it's finally bright enough to take good pictures without my tripod, I took a few test shots of whatever was lying around, while the new Skyrim patch was downloading. (which took like half an hour for 150MB. hooray for slow internet connection.) I'm still not used to how far away I need to be from the objects, compared to my 18-50mm. :< No self portraits without a mirror or tripod anymore!

Anyway, a few days in pictures it is~

Dinner in Malmö with a few friends and my dear boyfriend last weekend~

Baldur's Gate. Probably the best game I've ever played on a gamecube. Not that I've played that many games on one, but still.

That's it for now. I need to prepare for tomorrows' physics exam. (aka probably eat something and play FFXIII since I've already studied for seven hours today. Feels like two hours though...)

Hatsune Miku 39's Giving Day live concert

I've never been to a real concert before. With "real", I mean ones where you stand up, dance and sing together with the artist or band performing. My first one will be in May, seeing Sonny (or Skrillex. I know him as Sonny though) in Copenhagen. It's the perfect birthday gift for myself. He means a lot to me, and I'm happy to finally, after six years, see him in person.

Another person (I don't know if that's the right word, actually...) I absolutely want to see live, is Hatsune Miku. It looks amazing being there. I know she's not real, but it doesn't actually matter. It seems difficult for some people to understand how a virtual singer can be so popular, but those who like her music will know. She and some other Vocaloids were having a concert a few weeks ago, on March 9th (making it 3/9, Miku can be written like 39 in Japanese) and she sung my favorite song. Enjoy SPICa^-^

Night sky

Inspiration comes from this video!

Temporal Distortion from Randy Halverson on Vimeo.

This is my first time photographing at night, and I wasn't really sure how to do it. But I gave it a try and these are my results:

The panorama one kind of bothers my eyes and I don't want to look at it for too long, but other than that, I think I like it. I'd appreciate any help and tips I can get with both shooting and editing these kind of pictures!
